We believe that God has called Family Life Center to be a house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7).  Therefore our Sunday evening service, As We Pray, is devoted to prayer and intercession.  We typically will begin by preparing our hearts for prayer through a time of worship and seeking God.  We then ask the Lord for direction concerning what the prayer focus is to be for the evening.  By doing this we are relying on the Holy Spirit's guidance in our time of prayer according to Romans 8:26 which says, "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express."  During this time of prayer we will generally pray for the various needs that exist within our church, our community, our nation, and anything else the Holy Spirit leads us to pray for.
